. The predecessor of the school was founded in 1888, and it was chartered as a junior college in 1956. In 1995 TJKC entered into an agreement with The School for International Training to create an English medium degree program. In 2002 it became a four-year liberal arts college with a small student body of no more than 480 pupils. Students graduating from TJKC receive a
