Grantham firstly married Frances Puckering, the daughter of John Puckering; they had four sons and three daughters. He secondly married widow Lucy Sacheverall of Ratcliffe on Soar, Nottingham, daughter of William Boughton, with whom he had a further daughter, Ann. One son
