The Thiriotiidae are a family of parasitic alveolates in the phylum Apicomplexa.


Taxonomy

There is one genus in this family - ''Thiriotia''. The type species is ''Thiriotia pisae''. Other species in this genus include ''Thiriotia pugettiae''.


History
