Thimuay Imbing was the ancestor of the royal Imbing clan of Lapuyan,
among whom several individuals have retained the title of "Timuay." Thimuay Imbing is sometimes called "Timuay Labi" or "Highest Timuay" in deference to his achievements as leader of the Lapuyan Subanen.
