Abducted from a house outside Armagh before being shot three times and his body dumped at Farnaloy Road near Keady, South Armagh. [Police speculated that the killing had been carried out by dissident republicans with whom he was believed to be linked. On 10 November 2005 the CIRA issued a statement to deny any involvement with the killing.]
