The series was first screened at the XV International AIDS Conference in 2004 and received a global launch in 2005 and was subsequently translated into six different languages. This series was reached to audience through broadcast as well as distribution by non-governmental organizations, educational institutions, hospitals, and various groups across 150 countries and in 45 languages in 2012. The series was a collaborative effort of both Firdaus Kharas and Brent Quinn. All the episodes had humorous content with time duration of 15-60 seconds.
