His personality is based on the earlier shorts, however, his appearance is based on later shorts like ''The Looney Tunes Show'' for example. He is mostly paired with Daffy Duck who always drives him crazy. A humanoid version of Porky also appeared in Tom King's ''Batman/Elmer Fudd Special'', where he ran a bar called Porky's which often featured attendants that were humanoid versions of other Looney Tunes characters.
