2022 San Jose mayoral election and Councilmember Sylvia Arenas won the
2022 Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors election. Both District 8 and 10 will be vacated as a result in 2023, pending nominations from remaining councilmembers to fill the seats for the remaining two years of those terms or a potential special election.
