By tradition, the responsible publisher is usually a retired justice of the Supreme Court who has also been the chairman of the Supreme Court. Up until the 2010 edition, it was

Johan Munck is the law book publisher. The book is published by the information publisher
Norstedts Juridik. In its current form, has been published since 1861.
History
The publication of SFS started in 1825. Before that, were collected in print under the concept of (Annual Print).
