Sun Yue (; born 19 June 1972) is a Chinese singer. She first became known for her 1994 hit single ''Zhu Ni Ping'an'' (; "Wishing You Well").Nimrod Baranovitch ''China's New Voices: Popular Music, Ethnicity, Gender, and Politics, 1978-1997'' pp.157-158 Sun Yue interview "... sweet, slow, soft hit "Wishing You Well" (Zhu ni ping'an), which made her famous but which she is obviously not so excited about."

Personal life

Sun has an an elder brother named Sun Hongbo (). In 2005, she was married to Wu Feizhou (), their son was born the following year.
