In 1984, Meretzky collaborated with Adams over the course of three months in order to create a computer game adaption of Adams' series, which became one of the bestselling games of the era. A sequel to the game, titled ''Milliways: The Restaurant at the End of the Universe'' was proposed, but got cancelled due to the dwindling popularity of text adventure games.
