The racial makeup of the CDP was 95.25% White, 2.03% African American, 0.16% Native American, 1.12% Asian, 0.08% Pacific Islander, 0.59% from other races, and 0.77% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.09%. Of the 2,269 households 19.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.5% were married couples living together, 8.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 34.3% were non-families. 28.7% of households were one person and 19.3% were one person aged 65 or older.
