At the 2006 census, its population (as the total of its constituent villages before the merger) was 1,063 in 198 households. The following census in 2011 counted 1,553 people in 336 households, by which time the village had merged with other villages to form the new city of Shulabad. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,531 people in 422 households.
