Education

Borovac attended first the "Ahmet Fetahagić" elementary school and then the "Druga Gimnazija" secondary school in Sarajevo. She went on to university, graduating from the
Sarajevo Law School The University of Sarajevo Faculty of Law ( bs, Pravni fakultet Univerziteta u Sarajevu), also known as the Sarajevo Law School, is one of the leading schools of the University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The school is located in Sarajevo ...
in 1977 and qualifying as a judge in 2000. In 2001 she also qualified as a trainer with the Citizens' Association for Local Development Initiative.

. Within her first year in office, Borovac met with refugee families across Bosnia and Herzegovina. On 26 January 2016, Borovac signed an agreement with mayors from cities throughout the country and ministers of both entities, promising to have 438 homes built for families displaced by the
