Saxon grew up in Greatham village in Hartlepool, England. He first saw WWE on SKY TV in early 1992 and cites the Roddy Piper vs. Bret Hart match for the Intercontinental Title at Wrestlemania 8 as the reason he became a lifelong fan of wrestling. From 2013 - 2015 Saxon would also attend the Dr.Tom Legends of Wrestling training camp hosted in Charlotte, North Carolina which was ran by Dr. Tom Prichard and Les Thatcher with a number of other guest trainers including Rip Rogers, Nigel McGuiness, and Lance Storm. Saxon has also trained under World of Sport legend Marty Jones in the UK.

WWE (2017–2022)

Saxon made his WWE debut on 14 January, 2017 in the 2017 WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament. He was eliminated in the first round by Sam Gradwell.
