Created by the ''Representation Act, 1994'' (Saskatchewan) as "Saskatoon Mount Royal", it was renamed "Saskatoon Massey Place" through the ''Representation Act, 2002'' (Saskatchewan). It was last contested in the
2011 provincial election.
