At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 421 in 92 households, when it was in the former Taleqan District of

In October 2010, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Taleqan County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Taleqan as its capital and only city. The rural district was transferred to the new Central District. The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 442 in 199 households, by which time the county had been separated from the province in the establishment of Alborz province. It was the most populous village in its rural district.
