Sandra C. Cano (born 1983) is an American politician from the

Early life
Cano was born in
Medellín

Career
Cano served as an at-large city councilwoman for
Pawtucket, Rhode Island after serving on the city's
school board. She won a
special election on April 3, 2018, to succeed
James Doyle II

On March 20, 2023, Cano declared her candidacy to represent in the
United States House of Representatives in the

Cano's fiance,
James Diossa, is the
general treasurer of Rhode Island. They have two children together.
