Yashpaul was born in
Gujranwala

Yashpaul first performed when he was 11 years old at the "Harivallabh Sangeet Sammelan". He is the oldest alumni of Swami Harballabh Sangeet Akademi, Jalandhar. He has been performing on All India Radio
