The team of SV Deusche Volkspolizei Potsdam became the new first team of SV Deutsche Volkspolizei Berlin. SV Deutsche Volkspolizei Berlin also took over the place of SV Deutsche Volkspolizei Potsdam in the 1952-53 DDR-Liga ( de).
