Rumaan Alam (born 1977)

Oberlin College. He and his partner adopted two boys.
He is the author of three novels: ''
Leave the World Behind'', ''That Kind of Mother'', and ''Rich and Pretty''. He also hosts two podcasts for
''Slate''.
