That same year, his songs "Blanc et bleu," from the album ''Prends celui qui passe,'' and "Jamaica," from ''Au pied du courant'', received SOCAN Classic awards. In 2018, "Blanc et bleu" was inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame.
