channel and website both entitled The Burnettwork and presents his own show titled ''Robservations'' which provides in-depth online video analysis of new and classic TV and film content for the film fan community and aspiring filmmakers. Three episodes of ''Robservations'' that garnered widespread attention, in particular, were those focusing on an alternative script for the final film in the ''Star Wars'' sequel trilogy (which Meyer Burnett has been highly critical of). The draft script entitled "Duel of the Fates" had radically different (and, in Robert's view, superior) ideas to the ones shown on screen in '' Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker''. 2020 Twitter controversy

Until June 2020, Burnett was a manager on the Schmoedown Entertainment Network's ''Movie Trivia Schmoedown'' show. But he was removed from this role due to one retweet and attached commentary over the shooting of retired police captain David Dorn. Appalled at a video of the former police captain laying dead on a sidewalk, Burnett angrily mused about the absence of a second amendment advocate to apply deadly force to save Dorn's life. Former Schmoedown personality Robert Butler III took offense to Burnett's commentary and retweeted Burnett's words without the accompanying video. This led to several Schmoedown fans and personalities also voicing their displeasure with Burnett's comments, including Schmoedown host and co-creator Kristian Harloff, which resulted in his release from the trivia league. Although Burnett issued an apology video on his YouTube channel and spoke with Butler privately to apologize (an apology which Butler accepted), he was not reinstated to the Movie Trivia Schmoedown.
