. In 2004, the building was renovated by architects Ivan Brico and Ange Pecoraro. In December 2007, the hotel closed down. In May 2008, 1,000 SBM employees stopped outside the former hotel during their demonstration to express their discontent at their allegedly poor working conditions. It was renovated by the construction firm J.B. Pastor & Fils from 2007 to 2010, and turned into a residential building. A green wall was added.
