Wrestling career

Razmik Papikyan athlete of UWW Razmik Papikyan achieved his first major achievement in the international arena in 2016 when he weighed 46 kg at the European Under-18 Freestyle Wrestling Championships in Stockholm, Sweden. Papikyan defeated Greek, Russian, Hungarian and Kosovo athletes. 2019 Armenian champion U23 up to 61 kg. Winner of the 2019–2020 freestyle wrestling championship of the Republic of Armenia in the weight category up to 61 kg. Participant of the 5th World Cup 2020 (lost the match for 3rd place in the category up to 61 kg) Belgrade, Serbia. Papikyan won Polish and Ukrainian wrestlers. International tournaments Razmik Papikyan will represent Armenia at the European Championships among adult athletes under 23 years old in the weight category up to 61 kg, and the European Championship will be held on 17–23 May 2021 in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia.
