Luebbers has published in the areas of analysis of frequency selective surfaces, applications of the Geometrical Theory of Diffraction, and applications and extensions of the Finite-difference time-domain method. He is co-author of a book called The Finite Difference Time Domain Method for Electromagnetics. He has made invited presentations and presented short courses at several international meetings.
