Season 1 (2017-2019)


Plot

The story of Sembaruthi (Alya Manasa) the maid of Rajasekar's family. Both Rajasekar and his wife lakshmi treat Semba as their own daughter but their daughter-in-law's Archana and Vadivu refuse to treat her the same way. Later, Karthik (Sanjeev) is Rajasekar's youngest son and returns to Chennai after a long time from Singapore and forcefully gets married with Sembaruthi in an unexpected situation, meanwhile he has a girlfriend Divya (Pavithra).

Season 2 (2020-2023)


Plot

The story is about the family of a youngster Saravanan, who is a confectioner. Saravanan is not much educated. His parents decide to get him married. Saravanan’s mother expects her daughter-in-law to be a homely girl who loves and cares for her family. Saravanan always wants to fulfill his mother’s dream. But, Sandhya, the heroine, aims to become an IPS officer. What will Saravanan do? Will he crush his wife’s dream or convince his mother and support his wife?
