Raisarri رئیساڑی is one of many tribes that reside in
Balochistan-former Brahui Ranges Kalat state. They speak the
Brahui language in Mastung and Bolan and
Brahui and Pashto language in Ziarat and Thal-Chotiali.
The Raisarri-رئیساڑی tribal chief is called the Chief of
Sarawan from the princely state of
Kalat-Brahui Ranges.
The present Chief of Sarawan is
Nawab Muhammad Aslam Khan Raisarri-رئیساڑی
Nawab ( Balochi: نواب; ar, نواب;
bn, নবাব/নওয়াব;
hi, नवाब;
Punjabi : ਨਵਾਬ;
Persian,
Punjabi ,
Sindhi,
Urdu: ), also spelled Nawaab, Navaab, Navab, Nowab, Nabob, Nawaabshah, Nawabshah or Noba ...
.
During the rivalry war in 1987 between Raisarri and Rind tribe, both sides faced hundreds of casualties. Shaheed Nawabzada Mir Ismail Raisarti,
Shaheed Nawabzada Mir Siraj Khan Raisarri, and their father Nawab
Ghous Bakhsh Raisarri are recalled as martyrs of Raisarri رئیساڑی tribe.
Few of the most recognized personalities from Raisarri tribe are Nawabzada Aminullah Khan Raisarri the Eldest Son of Nawab Ghaus Bakhsh Raisani (Former Ambassador of Pakistan to Lebanon, Syria and Oman, High Commissioner of Pakistan to Cyprus). Nawab Aslam Raisarri (Former CM Balochistan (2008-2013), Current Member of Provincial Assembly of Balouhistan),
Lashkari Raisarri Lashkari may refer to:
People
Lashkari is a Persian name; people with this name include:
* Lashkari ibn Muhammad, Shaddadid ruler of Ganja (971–78)
* Lashkari ibn Musa, Shaddadid ruler of Arran (1034–49)
* Muhammad Shah III Lashkari, Bahmani ...
because of his political career and a mind he has a unique position in the family.
Raisarri tribe is most populated in Quetta, Mastung, Ziarat, Thal-Chotiali and then Kanak which is their mainland. Although some people of the tribe still live in different regions of
Balochistan and Sindh
Balochistan ( ; bal, بلۏچستان; also romanised as Baluchistan and Baluchestan) is a historical region in Western and South Asia, located in the Iranian plateau's far southeast and bordering the Indian Plate and the Arabian Sea coastline. ...
.
Their forefathers are also known for their political power even before Pakistan came into existence to this date being second to Khan in Brahui governing system of Meeri-Kalat, they had great relations with the
Britishbecause of their tribal and political position in Kalat state. Since the late Nawab Bahadur Sir Asadullah Khan Raisarri was specially requested to join as Knight Commander of The British Council.
The principal sections into which the tribe is divided are the Laskharizai, Ráhusainzai, Rustamzai, Sirajzai, Sahizai and Jamalzai. Each section is named after brothers and sons of the tribe's founding members.
This is a wrong story that there is a dispute between the people and different tribes Raisarri's try to legitimize their ownership of the Land by quoting Rai Hatu Ram who remained associated with the political affairs of Balochistan for a very long time and served with Sir R. Sandeman, the Raisani Afghans (Tarins P-172 and-570) came from Kandahar via Pishin and occupied the Thal-Chotiali area is totally incorrect. The Raisarri tribe is 5000 years old tribe. On the Mohnadarro-Moenjidaro. Brahui King left the city abandoned and travelled back to Negharr نغاڑ near existing city of Sorab and reestablish Brahui Tribes. This story is senseless that Rais Khan Tarin, with a band of his clan, occupied Kalat, while Mastung with the adjoining area was then occupied by the other Afghan tribes and there was no trace of the Brahuis or Balochs in the area (Rai Hatu Ram, Tarikh-i-Balochistan, p-172). Reason being that first the name Raisarri رئیساڑی is wrongly spelled as Raisani رئیسانی Secondly Pushtoon came to Afghanistan around 50 BC and Raisarri رئیساڑی tribe was head of Sarawan formel Bolarri بولاڑی in Persian بولانی·
This statement is also wrong and misleading that there Raisarri tribe is a branch of Tarin/Tareen tribe of Pudhtoon. Pushtoon were compelled and forced by occupiers of Afhans-Tajik Uzbuk Turkhan Urghon and Tatars, they used cross border and take asylum from Brahui King as the Raisarri were governor of Bolarri therefore they came under Rsisarri. Rausarri being chief was an influence on Pushtoon other Brahui tribes of Jehlawan formal Zehrri زہڑی
Some of these statements are very contradicting statements for political motives, leverage and credibility more clarification is required. That is mentioned above.
