Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 7,987 in 1,607 households, when it was in the Central District. The following census in 2011 counted 12,068 people in 2,965 households. The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 15,750 people in 4,030 households. In 2022, the city was separated from the district in the formation of Rabat District.
