Going to the south lies Phoenix which is the closest town to Quartier Militaire. To the west lies the developing area of Saint Pierre. Areas neighbouring the town are Curepipe, Hermitage, Belle Rive, Alma, Saint Pierre, Verdun, Highlands, Mont Ida and Melrose.


Facilities
