''Psilocybe indica'' is a species of
mushroom in the family
Hymenogastraceae.
[ (on Fondazione Museo Civico di Rovereto)] The mushroom contains
psilocybin, a prodrug for the psychedelic tryptamine
psilocin.
It was described from the state of
Kerala in
India.
