''Potentilla aurea'', the golden cinquefoil, is a species of flowering plant in the family
Rosaceae.
It is native to the mountains of mainland Europe, and has been introduced to Turkey.
A number of cultivars are available, including 'Aurantiaca', 'Goldklumpen', and 'Plena'.
