Administrative status

Until 18 July, 2020, Posad-Pokrovske was located in the
Bilozerka Raion Bilozerka Raion ( uk, Білозерський район) was one of the 18 former administrative raions ( ''districts'') of Kherson Oblast in southern Ukraine. Its administrative center was located in the urban-type settlement of Bilozerka. The ...
. The raion was abolished in July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Kherson Oblast to five. The area of Bilozerka Raion was merged into Kherson Raion.


History

Posad-Pokrovske was founded in 1789 as a property of the

. In 1795, there were 19 houses with 91 inhabitants. Posad-Pokrovske was liberated by Ukraine's

in mid-March 2022. Posad-Pokrovske was a front line village until the
