design. This design was modified by the Quebec Ministry of Colonisation and was used for more than 500 covered bridges in Quebec. The central pillar was added in 1946. In 1962 it was raised 60cm. In 1985 it was renovated. Following renovations in 2015, the load capacity was reduced to 8 tonnes from 12. It was repainted in 2016. It is listed in the répertoire du patrimoine culturel du Québec.
