Piparo is a village in Central

# Piparo was the base of operations of

# Piparo was the site of a large
mud volcano

eruption on February 22, 1997. The eruption covered an area of 2.5 kmĀ² and displaced 31 families. The mud volcano now lies active where the eruption took place ( as of October 2019).

mandir, two mosques, and three churches.
Since the eruption in 1997, an alternate road to the village has been established through the village of Guaracara or a detour around the volcanic site through Panchoo trace.
