Jask County Jask County ( fa, شَهرِستانِ جاسک) is in Hormozgan province, Iran. The capital of the county is the city of Jask. There were 5,258 inhabitants in 1,335 households at the following census of 2011, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Bashagard County. At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 4,452 in 1,176 households. The largest of its 42 villages was Kunek, with 592 people.
