The shell of ''Paraceltities'' is evolute with whorls compressed, venter arched and smooth, sides bearing ribs that slant somewhat forward dorso-ventrally. The suture is simple and goniatitic. ''Paraceltities'' was named by Gemmellaro, 1887. The type species is ''Paraceltities hoeferi''.
