, but viable populations have only been confirmed in Bobcat Cave and the complex comprising Hering Cave, Glover Cave and Brazelton Cave.


Ecology

Taxonomy

The closest relative of the Alabama cave shrimp is the Kentucky cave shrimp, ''Palaemonias ganteri'', which lives in
