Background

In the aftermath of the band's hiatus ("freezing") in 1988, P-Model's members went their own separate ways. After releasing three solo albums, frontman
Susumu Hirasawa is a Japanese musician and composer. In the fifth year of elementary school, Hirasawa took up the electric guitar, inspired by the surf and instrumental rock bands he heard on the radio and on TV, later joining his junior high school's band. ...
rebuilt the band out of several backing members from his concerts. The new, lineup consisted of pre-hiatus P-Model member
Hikaru Kotobuki is a Japanese musician who worked with artists like Susumu Hirasawa (P-Model), and Jun Togawa. In the early 1980s, Kotobuki joined Morio Agata's tour as a keyboard player and guitarist. After Agata's tour, Kotobuki and Agata formed a band which t ...
, returning founding member Katsuhiko Akiyama, and associate Yasuchika Fujii. P-Model officially returned in September 1991.
