Osakis Township is a township in
Douglas County,
Minnesota, United States. The population was 584 at the 2000 census.
Osakis Township was organized in 1866, and named after
Lake Osakis

According to the
United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 34.1 square miles (88.4 km), of which 31.4 square miles (81.2 km) is land and 2.8 square miles (7.1 km) (8.06%) is water.

there were 584 people, 216 households and 166 families residing in the township. The
population density was 18.6 per square mile (7.2/km). There were 324 housing units at an average density of 10.3/sq mi (4.0/km). The racial makeup of the township was 98.80%
