Awards
In April 2012, the enthusiast photography web site
Digital Photography Review (DP Review) awarded the OM-D EM-5 a Gold Award.
On the same website it was subsequently voted Best Camera of 2012 in a photographers' poll.
Other photography news and reviews websites that awarded the OM-D EM-5 "Camera of the Year" for 2012 were ''photographyblog.com'' and ''wirefresh''. The camera also won a 2012 Pop Photo award from the magazine ''
Popular Photography''.
