History

Northwest ISD was created in 1948 when the communities of

, Justin, Rhome, and Roanoke met to consolidate their school districts into one. The community of Fairview was added to the district the next year. Construction began in 1950 on a consolidated high school. In 1988, the current building was constructed and has received several updates since.
