it had a population of 19,369 people living, with 9,303 males and 10,066 females. Ward number 3 had the largest population 4,734, while Ward number 2 had the least population with 4,734. Naraha Rural Municipality had 3,673 households. Ward number 3 had the most households with 870, while ward number 2 had the fewest households with 437 number of households. The most spoken language in Naraha is Maithili, which is spoken by 16,726 people. The Naraha has people who speak other languages, such as Urdu, Tharu, Uranw/Urau, Nepali, Newar, Tamang, Danuwar, Sunuwar, etc. The top five castes of people in Naraha Rural Municipality are Yadav (6,584), Musahar (3,196), Muslim (1,909), Koiri/Kushwaha (1,131) and Chamar/Harijan/Ram (1,038) with a total population of 13,858, which forms 71.55 percent out of a population. There were 212 disabled persons in Naraha Rural Municipality with 116 males and 96 females. The physically disabled persons were 54, while mentally disabled people were 25, and the intellectually disabled were 11. A total of 183 houses were equipped with piped tap water resources, while 3,047 houses were reported as having tubewell water facilities.
