Career

Khan was elected to parliament from the reserved women's seat as a Bangladesh Awami League candidate in February 2019. She is a member of the parliamentary caucus on child rights. In May 2023, Khan filed a murder case with Sher-e-Bangla Nagar police station in Dhaka in connection with the killing of her father, Colonel Khondkar Nazmul Huda, killed 47 years earlier in coup d'état in November 1975.
