Muuga is a village in Viimsi Parish, Harju County in northern Estonia. (retrieved 27 July 2021) It is located about northeast of the centre of Tallinn, just north of Maardu's district of Muuga aedlinn (''Muuga garden city''), on the coast of Muuga Bay. Half of the village's territory is occupied by the Port of Muuga (which also occupies lands from Uusküla and Maardu). As of 2011 Census, the settlement's population was 581, of which the Estonians were 327 (56.3%). Western part of Muuga is connected to the centre of Tallinn by

The eastern part is reachable by route nr. 34A (Viru keskus - Muuga aedlinn), average traveling time is also about 35 minutes but it is much more frequent.
