History

Construction for Line 2 started in February 1993 and was inaugurated on November 30, 1994, in the stretch from General Anaya to
Zaragoza Zaragoza, also known in English as Saragossa,''Encyclopædia Britannica'"Zaragoza (conventional Saragossa)" is the capital city of the Zaragoza Province and of the autonomous community of Aragon, Spain. It lies by the Ebro river and its tributari ...
. After 14 years, the second stage of the line, from Regina to Universidad, was inaugurated on October 31, 2007, by José Natividad González Parás,
