The township is in eastern Cumberland County and is bordered to the south by York County. Most of the township is in the

There were 2,073 households, 34.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 71.2% were married couples living together, 5.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 20.3% were non-families. 16.4% of households were made up of individuals, and 5.6% were one person aged 65 or older. The average household size was 2.67 and the average family size was 2.99. In the township the population was spread out, with 24.5% under the age of 18, 6.2% from 18 to 24, 28.1% from 25 to 44, 30.0% from 45 to 64, and 11.2% 65 or older. The median age was 40 years. For every 100 females, there were 101.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 99.8 males. The median household income was $57,351 and the median family income was $62,599.
