on 14 November 2023. He was 77. The airstrike on his home killed him, his wife Rehab Mohamad Shubair, their daughter-in-law Najat Ayoub Alhelo, and their eldest son, Muhammad Malik Shubair. Those who survived the bombing and tried to walk to Al-Shifa Hospital nearby were shot dead by Israeli forces besieging the hospital.
