Pavlović grew up with the Crvena zvezda Juniors. He began his professional career with the Zvezda in the 1989–90 season. In 1990, Pavlović moved to the

Crvena zvezda (2002–2017)

In February 2002, Pavlović was named as the coordinator of the youth teams for
Crvena zvezda Fudbalski klub Crvena zvezda ( sr-Cyrl, Фудбалски клуб Црвена звезда, lit=Red Star Football Club, ), commonly known as Red Star Belgrade in English-language media, is a Serbian professional football club based in B ...
. In August 2007, he got promoted to the deputy sports director. Also, he was a team manager from August 2007 to December 2008. In March 2010, Pavlović became a general manager for Crvena zvezda. In October 2015, Davor Ristović succeeded him on that position, while he was named as a sports director. In August 2017, Pavlović left the sports director post.


Olimpija Ljubljana

In November 2018, Pavlović was named as an assistant of general manager and senior advisor of basketball operations for Slovenian team Petrol Olimpija. He parted ways with Olimpija in March 2019.
