Following various earlier changes of ownership, Meyn was acquired by
Altor Funds (Altor) in 2005. Under its new ownership, the company grew to become the world market leader in this sector, with a turnover of more than 200 million euros. They expanded their business to more than 90 countries and built factories in the United States and Poland.
